Soccer Legend Patrick Viera to appear at Bar 43 this Wednesday

This Wednesday, April 19, soccer legend Patrick Viera will be appearing here at Bar 43 in Sunnyside, Queens. Viera, the current New York City FC Head Coach, will be joined by NYCFC Club President Jon Patricof and one player who has yet to be announced.

The appearance is part of the ‘City in the Boroughs’ initiative which the club has established in an effort to create an open dialogue with fans of the team within each New York City Borough. The event will consist of a 1 hour long forum heavily focused on a Q&A for those in attendance. The event is open to NYCFC season ticket holders located within the borough of Queens so if you fall into this category you can still RSVP for the event by clicking HERE.

Patrick Viera is a legend in his own right having played most notably for Arsenal and Inter Milan throughout his storied career where just some of his achievements include 3 Premier League Titles and 3 Serie A Titles. Viera was also a World Cup and European Cup Winner with France in 1998 and 2000 respectively. Viera took over as Head Coach of NYCFC in January 2016 and his team currently sit in 4th place in the MLS Eastern Conference following a 2-0 win over Philadelphia last Friday.
